How Junk Removal Pricing Works
Most local junk removal companies (us included) price by volume. The truck’s a fixed size; the price scales with how much of it you fill. Some companies also charge by weight separately; we don’t, except on dumpster loads where disposal exceeds the included weight allowance.

We’re at or below the national median for residential pickup, and well below national franchise pricing for our area. Most “1-800-GOT-JUNK” or similar franchise quotes in Pierce County come in 20-40% higher than ours for the same job.
What’s Not Included
- Hazardous waste — paint, oil, batteries, propane, asbestos, medical waste. We don’t take these (Pierce County has drop-off programs for most).
- Tires — we don’t take them; tire shops do for ~ each.
- Refrigerant-bearing units — slightly more for proper handling.
Factors That Affect Pricing
- Volume — primary driver
- Weight — concrete, dirt, roofing can shift pricing if extreme
- Access — gated yards, second floors, long carries can shift quote slightly
- Location — within our core Pierce County footprint, no surcharge
How to Save Money
- Bundle items — single-item pickup is minimum; a quarter-truck full of items is also Add more if you’ve got room.
