The Pacific NW grows things. PNW rain + Pierce County’s mild climate = a lot of yard debris. Add a single windstorm or a major pruning project and the pile gets out of hand fast. Hauling happens it.
What We Pick Up
- Branches and brush — from limb pruning, hedge trimming, tree work
- Stumps (within reason — large old-growth stumps need specialty equipment; medium-and-down we handle)
- Sod — from lawn replacement projects
- Old landscape rock and mulch — pile shifts, garden re-dos
- Trimmings from windstorms — frequent PNW need
- Pulled fencing or trellis material
- Dead plants and root balls
What We Don’t Take in Yard Loads
- Treated lumber — separate disposal channel (we still take it, just routed differently)
- Concrete chunks or pavers — heavy, transfer station tipping fees apply
- Anything mixed with garbage — separate hauls usually cheaper
How Big Is “A Yard Pile”?
A standard quarter-truck handles: – 10-15 medium branches – A typical hedge-trimming load – A small pile of brush + clippings – One large branch from a downed tree
A full truck handles a typical post-windstorm cleanup or a small landscape re-do.
For bigger projects, a 14-yard dumpster (flat-rate 5-day rental) gives you time to load over a weekend.

- Yard dumpster (14yd): starts at flat-rate 5-day rental
- Storm cleanup (emergency): call — we route trucks to storm areas as fast as we can
PNW-Specific Yard Stuff
- Blackberry brambles — invasive, brutal to clear, we handle them
- Holly and laurel — heavy yard debris on hand-trim
- Madrone bark and limbs — common Pierce County tree
- Fall leaves in large volume — we’ll take piles that exceed your cart
Storm Cleanup
Pierce County windstorms can drop entire trees on lawns, fences, and driveways. We do post-storm cleanup as fast as we can route trucks — typically within 24-48 hours of a major storm. For tree work itself (cutting down standing trees), we refer to local tree service partners; we handle the haul.
