1. Sell or Give Away
Wooden swing sets (Rainbow Play, Cedar Summit) hold value for years and are often free or cheap on Facebook Marketplace. Buyer dismantles and hauls. Catch: disassembly takes most of a weekend; buyers need to be motivated.
2. DIY Demolition
- Power tools, gloves, eye protection
- Disassemble from the top down
- Cedar/redwood goes to a transfer station ( tipping)
- Metal hardware goes to scrap recyclers ( per swing set)
- Plastic components (slides, swings) go to the transfer station
A solid full Saturday for most residential sets.
3. Call Hoss
We demolish and haul in one visit. Most residential swing sets are depending on size and access (PNW yards with mature trees can be tight).
